Outside of the office, Kunsang loves spending time with her friends, family, and Zumba dancing at a park near her house.

Janeth

Janeth was born and raised in the Philippines. She went to school to become a hygienist and joined our amazing team in 2020. She loves educating patients on how to improve their oral health.

Outside of helping others achieve a perfect smile, she loves to give back and is involved in charity work. In addition, she loves to cook and hike. She hopes to visit remote places around the world to help children that are less fortunate.

Malekha
Hygienist

Malekha was born in Harlem and later raised in Queens, NY. She went to Stony Brook where she received her bachelor’s degree in health science. She also became a certified EMT. Currently, she is continuing her education at NYU. She joined Morningside Dental Care in 2020 and has enjoyed creating connections with patients, helping them improve both their oral and overall health. She feels honored that she is able to help her patients change their habits and improve their confidence in their smile. Malekha is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and was published as Dental Hygiene District Student Delegate in 2014.

When not at work, Malekha loves to dance. In fact, she is the creator of the dance group “Les Gazelles Africaines 2”. She also spends her free time with her friends and family, and catching up on continuing education courses. One of Malekha’s goals is to open up a dental hygiene business, and to teach clinical hygiene. A fun fact about Malekha is that she went skydiving once. She thought it was fun, but she would never do it again.

Yrene
Dental Assistant

Yrene was born and raised in Cuba, and she went to school to study to be a dentist. She joined our practice back in 2002. During those years, she has enjoyed being a part of smile transformations. Even if it’s restoring a single tooth, she loves seeing her patients’ confidence in their smile improve.

When not helping patients achieve their dream smile, Yrene’s favorite hobby is spending time with her family. She loves to cook for her family and listen to what her children are up to.
